Virtually all of the churches out there, who profess to be ‘Christian’, claim to love Christ and God’s Word. However, there are many Churches that clearly do not, which can be seen by those who are inside and outside the Church alike (Matthew 7:16, 20). While often we cannot tell from the outside looking in, and we should always guard against rash judgement, but sometimes we can see clear and obvious signs of apostasy. In such cases, where clear signs are to be seen, it is the duty of the Christian to raise his or her voice in opposition against this rebellion waged against the Most High.
Sadly, there are many clear signs to be seen in many modern churches, but we will only look at two of them here.
“Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.”
-1 Timothy 2:11-12
With the clarity of the Apostle Paul’s prohibition on women teaching, or of being in authority over other men in the congregation, why are there so many churches now ordaining female ministers which violates these clear commands? Either the Church has been wrong for centuries, and we are missing something here, or these churches no longer believe the Bible? Whatever the case the authority of the Word of God is what is at stake, not necessarily what role a woman should play, however important that is.
If the Word of God is cast aside to be politically correct, or socially acceptable, the churches in question who do such things have enthroned man’s wisdom, in the place of God’s.
“Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.”

LGBT Affirming Churches
It seems almost monthly that there are more and more professing Christian churches accepting homosexuals and other members of the LGBT community as fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. However when one studies the history of the capitulation to this error, it is seen that this was never in a vacuum. Churches, like the Church of Scotland, while professing to hold to the Christian gospel and Holy Scriptures, openly reject the authority of the Word of God by ordaining female ministers. Often, after this, it is only a matter of time before they all embrace the LGBT community.
The issue is of authority. Will we follow God or man’s fallen sinful reason?
The scriptures unquestionably condemn the abominable practice of homosexuality and other vices within the LGBT community. Vices which demonstrate that they hate God.
There is hope for the homosexual, but only in Jesus Christ. Many Churches now lie to their members and claim that God accepts the homosexual as he is.
“The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.”
These Churches need to turn to God’s word and declare to all, including the homosexual, that as an unrepentant sinner they are under the wrath of God.
“Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.”

“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness”
